Shell Beach formed from billions of tiny shells, aptly named Shell Beach in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area is popular for swimming, beach combing and relaxing in the sunshine. Shell Beach is one of only a handful of places on earth where shells replace beach sand in such a dramatic and picturesque way.

Preveli Beach, also known as Phoenix or Lake Preveli, is a popular beach located in southern Crete, Greece. It's known for its unique palm forest, the river flowing into the sea, and the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean. The beach is located at the mouth of the Kourtaliotikos Gorge, a gorge that carries the Megalos Potamos (Great River) to the Ocean.
